I sized up half a size after reading the warning about them running small and that was the right call. The lace-up style from size 36 up is a nice classic touch that makes them look more polished than the velcro version. Comfortable straight out of the box, no break-in period needed.

The laces on the size 38 give these a more grown-up look than the velcro in the photos, and the fit is perfect once you size up. Really glad I read the sizing note before ordering.

I was a bit worried about the sizing warning, but going up half a size made them fit perfectly. The lace-up design feels much more secure than the velcro I was expecting from the product photo.
