I've been wearing these to the beach every weekend and the side pockets are deep enough to hold my phone without it falling out while I'm swimming. The elastic waistband with the drawstring keeps them snug without being uncomfortable, and the recycled polyester fabric dries quickly after a dip.

The drawstring actually holds tight through a whole session of waves, which is rare for me. The ombre fade looks way richer in person than on screen, and the side pockets are deep enough that my keys didn’t budge. Only wish the waistband was a touch sturdier, but it’s still a solid pick.
