Pulled them on straight out of the bag and the waistband is exactly the right stretch without being too tight, plus that pre-washed feel makes them way softer than new sweatshorts usually are.

These shorts are exactly what I hoped for—the French terry cotton is thick but somehow still breathable, and the pre-washed fabric feels like I've owned them for years. I've worn them three days in a row now, and they haven't stretched out or lost their shape at all.

The elastic waistband and drawstring make these super easy to throw on, and the pre-washed cotton is noticeably softer than most new shorts I've tried. They fit just like the baggy pants version I already own, which is exactly what I wanted.
