My son usually fights me over swim trunks but these he actually keeps on. They stay snug in the water instead of ballooning up, and he can still climb and dive without anything flapping in his face.

My daughter hates the drag of regular board shorts, so these snug trunks were a nice change — she actually swam without tugging at them. They stay put during cannonballs and don't ride up. Only thing is they run a bit small, so size up.
